New York’s tough! Meet people, give out business cards, have contacts. It helps (probably) with getting that “first” job. 

I’m mostly referring to looking for work, getting through interviews, and never hearing back lol. Even if it doesn’t lead to a job, going through them can at least help you get better at them (The more you do it).
